Kit Mikayi
Kit Mikayi is an impressive rock formation close to Lake Victoria near the village of Kombewa. Apart from the scenic beauty of the formation and the landscape, it has significant cultural meaning for several groups of people.
The rock formation can partly be climbed without any special skills or equipment. The Kit Mikayi Youth Group who runs the place as tourist attraction will provide a guide, included in the access fee. The visit involves a bit of rock climbing, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes with non-slip soles.
