Kisumu webcam
This is an almost-live picture of part of Kisumu town, brought on-line by B to B Kenya ltd. The camera is looking North-West. You are seeing part of the center of Kisumu town with the Mega Plaza shopping mall on the left in the foreground and the Kenya Power & Lighting offices with the blue roof behind that. On the right 'above' that you can just glimpse the Kisumu Clocktower, famous landmark to anyone who ever passed through here.
Further down the road from KP&L is the Swan Center shopping mall with behind that the Kisumu bay, an arm of Lake Victoria. If the water seems to look dark green then there is water hyacint in the bay again...
Across the bay on the left there is the lighter green grass of Kisumu Airport and in the background the escarpment that borders the Kano plains and the Lake basin.
The camera is in the office of B2Bkenya in Varsity Plaza (former K.N.A. building) in Kisumu. The picture is updated every 3 minutes, unless interruptions in our Internet link or power supply make that impossible.
